Before founding Team Move, Damon swam competitively in high school and worked as a certified Swim Instructor and Lifeguard.  At the age of 18 he discovered that he had a malignant tumor in his calf muscle.  After recovering from surgery and months of therapy, his drive to become competitive at a sport again soon surfaced. He discovered the local race scene and started competing in triathlons, ocean races, and marathons.  His drive and determination in everything that he does today is still reminiscent of his time racing. He has been a writer for a few local publications sharing his knowledge of fitness, and he has been featured on television and various news stations.  Damon's style of training has been called unpredictable, innovative, and he is known for having the ability to adapt to any environment.  He strives to continuously evolve as a trainer, and to become a master at his craft.
