MOVECAMP

Move Camp is the flagship workout of Team Move. It's the company's original "signature" workout, and we have different locations around the island. Move Camp (Not to be confused with Boot Camps) is made for all fitness levels, and it's the ultimate full body workout experience. It consists of upper and lower body exercises, cardio, functional training, core exercises, balance, and plyometrics.  Each workout incorporates some of the most recognized equipment in the fitness field; such as battle ropes, medicine balls, resistance bands, balance pods, and ladders. What separates Move Camp from other workouts, is its special attention to safety and making the most of each workout.

 

We create workouts that are comprised of safe movement patterns which helps to prevent injuries; but at the same time efficient enough to still push you out of your comfort zone. We don't focus on just one muscle group in a workout (EX: leg day), that's a waste of time! And we definitely don't use just any cookie cutter exercise that you could find online. We've been in the game long enough, and we've done our homework. Welcome to Move Camp. Are you up for the challenge?

Move Camp's Signature Workouts
What separates Move Camp from any other class is its signature workouts.  The workouts are mixed in and changes each week to keep your body from getting bored, and to avoid plateaus.  Each workout is designed to cover all elements of training from speed to strength.

 

-The Wall - Hailed as Move Camp's original signature workout, The Wall is a full body workout and hands down one of the most extreme workouts out of them all.  Feared by many for its extreme "gravity" defying moves, it will leave you never looking at another wall the same again.

 

-Sports Fusion - Sports Fusion is a mixture of sport specific drills and exercises mixed into one workout.  If cardio, speed, and endurance are your goals; then this workout will take your performance to the next level.

 

-BANDtastic! - A fun full body workout utilizing resistance bands for cardio, and both upper and lower body exercises.  No weights needed here because it is simply BANDtastic!

 

-Yoga Strength - When creating Move Camp, we wanted to give the most variety out of any program.  We wanted to break the mold.  That's where yoga comes in.  Yoga Strength incorporates balance, flexibility, recovery, and strength into one workout.  It compliments the other grueling workouts already offered, and it accommodates all levels of yoga.  From beginner to advanced.  Anyone can do this workout.

 

-The Gun Show - This workout focuses specifically on the "glamor"  muscles that we love to show off.  The biceps, triceps, and shoulders; otherwise known as the GUNS!  You're going to feel a burn and get a pump like no other.  We highly recommend getting a ride to class when this workout shows up because you might not be able to drive back home.

Days and Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

The MC100 club

The MC100 club is exclusive to Move Camp Ala Moana.  You can't buy membership to get into this club, you have to earn it. This elite club recognizes those who have finished 100 Move Camp classes or more.  Ask anyone who has made it this far, and they'll tell you that this isn't an easy task to accomplish.  So what's some of the perks to making it, other than just bragging rights?  MC100 members receive a special MC100 t-shirt, and a bright green, crisp, and shiny hundred dollar bill.  And yes it is real!  How's that for motivation?  Do you have what it takes to join the club? Only the dedicated need apply.

MOVECAMP FOR WOMEN - Kaiser Permanente Mapunapuna Clinic

If you're looking for a comfortable workout environment with other supportive women who have similar goals just like you; then our all women's Move Camp might be what you're looking for. This is an indoor air conditioned class, located at Kaiser Permanente's Mapunapuna clinic. Home of Team Move Hall of Fame inductees, The Kaiser Girls.

Days and Times: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

MOVECAMP - Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Clinic

This is an indoor air conditioned class, located at the Kaiser Permanente Moanalua clinic. Made for all ages and fitness levels. Both men and women are welcome. There is also a cafeteria located in the hospital that serves healthy options, and makes it convenient for your pre and post workout meals!

Days and Times: Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
